How it is built, and what is left out

The universe is every exchange listed US name that passes the float and price gates our scanner uses. Over the counter and pink sheet names are excluded, and so is anything under ten cents, because a name nobody can realistically trade does not belong in a dataset about trading. Two consistency checks drop a figure rather than publish a wrong one: a float larger than shares outstanding, and a one day move above 400 percent. A blank means we did not trust the number. It never means zero.

What is not here is our own analysis. The scanner runs eight conditions across this list and alerts on the few that clear all of them. That selection is the product. This dataset is the raw material, published so anyone can work with it, and it is the same file our free screener draws from.

Risk disclaimer: this page lists prices and volumes. It does not recommend anything. Low float and micro-cap stocks are among the most volatile securities in the market: a name near the top of the movers table can give the whole move back in an hour, and total loss is possible. Nothing here is financial advice, and Ignition Alerts never tells anyone to buy or sell. Full risk disclosure.
