About
Two rules, one public record.
Ignition Alerts is a stock alert service that runs on fixed rules and publishes every outcome, losses first. This page says who is behind it, how the numbers are made, and how to reach us.
Who runs it
Ignition Alerts is built and run by its founder, an independent operator who wrote the scanner, the two rule books and this site, and who trades the same alerts. The founder publishes under the Ignition Alerts name rather than a personal one, and lets the work speak through the record: every alert, every stop and every sell is on the track record the day it happens.
There is no sales team, no affiliate network and no paid promotion of any stock. Nobody at Ignition Alerts is paid by a company to mention it, and no alert has ever been placed for any reason other than the rule firing.
How the alerts are made
Two books, two rules, both written down in full on the how it works page. The Small Cap book runs every listed stock through twelve tests after the close and buys the names that pass at 9:35 the next morning, with a limit and a hard stop resting at the broker from the first minute. The Large Cap book checks companies worth more than $2 billion at every 5 minute close of the regular session, buys the ones sold hard in a falling trend into four slots, and states each exit in the buy note.
A rule is a rule. The scanner decides, a person does not override it, and a change to any rule is dated and written into the record before it takes effect. Backtests are stated as backtests, live trades as live trades, and a simulated book is labelled a simulated book on every page that shows it.
How the numbers are checked
Every figure on this site is read from the same published files the scanner writes: the books, the marks and the daily portfolio curve. Nothing is typed in by hand. A nightly job compares each page against those files and fails the build if a number drifts. Elapsed time is printed beside every return, and it is rounded the conservative way, so a return is never made to look faster than it was.
Closed trades enter the average as results. Open positions are marks, shown separately, and a mark never enters a closed-trade average. When a trade cannot be verified, it is kept out of the headline until it can be, and the page says so.
What we publish
The full track record of both books against the S&P 500 over the same days. A daily book brief whenever the book changes. A dated record of the biggest low float moves each session, an open screener and a free dataset under CC BY 4.0. Plain-English guides and a glossary, written to be checked, not to sell. Machine-readable summaries for answer engines at /llms.txt.
What we never do
We never give financial advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell anything. We never delete a losing trade, rewrite a past result or quote a peak as if it were a sale. We never accept payment to feature a stock. We never send an alert before the book has actually bought. We do not use testimonials, ratings or star reviews: the record is the only reference we offer.
